Such a great big brother (usually)!

Daddy told Ian that if he could use the potty all the time and stay dry, he could wear his new underpants. Here he is showing them off to Daddy and Lia:


When Ian's in the mood, he can be so sweet to Lia. He shows off for her sometimes.



She generally enjoys his attentions, but sometimes he can overwhelm her:

Now when I go pick them up from school, Ian often wants to "introduce" Lia to the teacher or other kids. He likes to show her off. If I ask him if we can give her to Miss Gina or someone else, he always says no.

But over the weekend, when Liz, Adam, Abuelita, Tia and Dylan were at our house, we were all finishing up dinner and Ian purposely hit Lia on the forehead in full view of everyone. It wasn't very hard, but it was clearly not a love pat. He's usually so good that we forget sometimes that he still gets jealous, especially when both Lia and Dylan are around and everyone is cooing over how cute the babies are. However, after I asked him if he was tired and needed to go upstairs straight to bed, he went over and stroked Mei Mei's arm, said he was sorry and gave her a kiss.
