Belated Father's Day entry

Here's Jeff's description:
"It really was a perfect Father's Day for me. In the morning I got to see the cards that Ian made for me at school and at home. He really is writing his letters well and his drawings are always interesting! Ian and Lia both painted some white baseball caps for me at school, too, which was very nice. Then we all went to the Bronx Zoo with my mom who is visiting.


"It was a nice day to go -- not too hot! We spent 4 and a half hours there, then we went home, took showers and went out for a special Father's Day dinner. Both the kids were very well-behaved thoughout dinner and Ian ate very well -- he had some BBQ ribs and brisket!

"Flora had a delicious soft-shell crab prepared tempura-style and my mom and I both had seared scallops. But I think my favorite part was the homemade mint-chip ice cream made with fresh mint -- it was sooo good! After dessert, of course, it was time to go home and put the kids to sleep. It was a perfect day."
