Lia's blog, so I won't post it again here. We drove an hour and a half up to New Paltz, NY, and met up with Kai Yi-Po and Kai Yi-Gong for a beautiful afternoon of apple picking. Ian was a real trouper and had a great time at Apple Hill Farms. I picked this orchard because it advertised two fire trucks on its website -- one stationary one and one working fire truck. Well, it was a hit. Ian didn't want to go on the hay ride, just the fire truck. And he didn't want to leave the stationary fire truck, except to get onto the moving fire truck. He was a great apple picker and ate the fruits of his labor (couldn't resist, sorry).
