Splink-a-ner

I'm just getting dinner ready, so Ian is entertaining himself. He was drawing on his blackboard. First he was drawing buses, which he can do quite well now. Then he was drawing lines across the board, so I asked him what they were. "Splink-a-ner!" Then he wanted me to draw one, so I did. Then he said, "All my friends in da splink-a-ner?" He wanted me to draw his friends Madison, Sera, Ben and Danielle playing in the sprinkler (they do that at school). But when I finished he asked, "Babe-ing suit? My friends wearing da babe-ing suit." So I had to redraw everyone in their bathing suits, as well as Ian. I guess I must have drawn Ian kind of funny because he asked me, "What da matter with Ian?"
