No Spanish! No Chinese!

Well, it's starting already. He's been speaking a lot more English lately. So the other day I said something in Chinese and he said, "NO SPANISH!" I told him that it wasn't Spanish, it was Chinese. "NO CHINESE!"

So last night, we're reading a story and singing before bed and he wanted to sing only English songs. I started singing a Chinese song and he turned to me and said, "That's Chinese." Pause. "You wanna sing 'Old Macdonald'?"

His vocabulary is steadily increasing and his comprehension is definitely increasing even more. He asked me what something in the Winnie the Pooh game was and I said, "Macaroni." He said, "Rack-a-ernie?" So that's how he says macaroni now.
