This is Ian eating rice at dinner. It was all over his face, up his nose and in his hair. This is pre-haircut, so the 'fro is pretty poufy.

The next day (the day Ernesto blew in), we took him for his haircut. But first, Ian fed himself some yogurt.

Then he wanted to wear these sunglasses that one of the parents at school gave to the kids for July 4th.

So he wore them to the barber shop. "Hello, my adoring fans!"

Note that he is wearing his sandals because (a) his sneaker was still wet from stepping into the kiddie pool fully clothed the day before and (b) he wanted the "dos bus" (two buses) on the sandals. He calls all large vehicles and trucks "bus" (sometimes in English and sometimes in Spanish, which means he says, "Boose").
He was quite apprehensive on the barber's chair, but very cooperative.

He doesn't eat any candy, so he didn't know what to do with the lollipop other than hold it.

What a face!
Well, I hope that satisfies you Ian junkies out there for a little while. I've got more, but I'm exhausted and need to get to bed!
