A Visit With Uncle Jing (Xiao Jiu) - April 1, 2006

OK, better late than never. Here are some photos from our visit with Jing on April 1st, who was passing through New York after graduating from Special Forces. First, there's Ian combing his hair so he can look spiffy when Xiao Jiu gets here.

It's not exactly up to military standards, but it's the best we can do!

Jing came with Kai-Yi, Yi-die and Allie and we had lasagna for lunch and a celebratory Carvel ice cream cake.

Ian had fun playing with everyone.

He showed Kai-Yi Po and Aunt Allie his toy eggs.

Xiao Jiu brought a present for Ian, a Special Forces coin. Ian seemed to think it was pretty cool.

It was great to see Xiao Jiu before he goes off on his assignment!
